Michigan Science Center

With live stage shows, an IMAX® Dome, a 4D theater, a Planetarium, an 8,700 square foot special exhibit hall, and 220+ interactive exhibits, the Science Center has a lot to offer children and adults alike. Their exhibits, programs and science shows explore various topics in STEM and promote literacy and understanding of the natural world and the built environment. They also offer the STEMinista Statewide Initiative which virtually connects 6th-8th grade girls from around the state of Michigan in order to form a community of girls passionate about STEM learning. Participants attend trainings and workshops, explore STEM careers, and are paired with a STEM role model for mentorship and coaching.
