Kids in Science is a student volunteer program run by students at the University of Michigan. They conduct hands-on experiments with elementary schoolers and expose them to science from a young age. We perform many types of experiments, teaching foundational science concepts and exciting students about science along the way. The program emphasizes meaningful connections by fostering bonds between the students and college mentors. This not only enhances their understanding of science but also provides them with role models who they can turn to for guidance and questions.
