Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a national college access program with the purpose of increasing the number of underserved students who are prepared to enter and achieve a postsecondary education. GEAR UP is designed to serve a cohort of students, from target schools, beginning in the seventh grade and continuing throughout high school and their first year of college. Ypsilanti Community High School is a target school this program supports in Washtenaw County.
Only students from Ypsilanti Community High School are eligible.
